President Barack Obama has had his fair share of critics during his two terms in the White House. Hecklers are pretty common and protests are a given. Despite strong opposition, the President is no stranger to the clap back. This week in Pittsburgh, a group of veterans did President Obama’s light work and took matters into their own hands when a protester tried to interrupt his speech.
As the President addressed the Veterans of Foreign Wars national convention, a man stood with a sign that read, “The Emperor Benghazi Has No Clothes”. The sign referenced the September 2012 attacks on a U.S. diplomatic post in Benghazi, Libya ending with the deaths of an ambassador and three other Americans.
Another veteran pulled the man by his arm, then awkwardly grabbed him by his waist causing a scene. Making it a group effort, another grabbed his shoulders eventually snatching the sign as the man fell backwards. Others lent a hand, showing the man back to his seat.
