That’s My Jam Thursday: Urban Christmas Special

I rarely express my urban side, but when I do, it’s always a good time especially when it comes to my goofy song selections. This week, I found a collection of nontraditional Christmas songs that always give me a chuckle.

H-Town’s “Knockin’ Da Boots” is one of my favorite old school grind songs but a Christmas version? I blame Uncle Luke for this foolery. Hahahaha is all I’ll say.

The butterfly, uh-oh that’s old! “What You Want for Christmas?” Ah, the infamous question turned holiday tune for the 69 Boyz/Quad City DJ’s. I’ve known the lyrics of this tune since the 1st or 2nd grade. The shameful part is I remember watching them perform it on Jerry Springer. The comedy is that I found the episode on YouTube. Lord, I know I been changed..

And finally, “D*ck in a Box” rounds out the list. By discussing this song choice with my desire for Justin Timberlake, I’d make it even more appropriate than it needs to be. Enjoy.
